Terms & Conditions

The following Booking Terms together with the general information contained on this website shop.rivercatcher.co.uk and www.rivercatcher.co.uk form the basis of your contract for your shop order whilst on holiday at Rivercatcher. Please read carefully as these Terms and Conditions together with our Privacy Policy apply to you as a consumer.


Orders can be made online at shop.rivercatcher.co.uk or by contacting the Rivercatcher office. Once Rivercatcher have received your Welsh food order request we will, subject to availability, confirm your order by email. Please check the details & contact Rivercatcher immediately if there are any errors or omissions to any information which appears in the confirmation or any other document as it may not be possible to make changes later. Rivercatcher regret we cannot accept any liability if we are not notified of any inaccuracies in any document within 24 hours of its transmission. Full payment is required to confirm the order.  Any monies paid cannot be returned unless the cancellation is made by Rivercatcher.

Orders can only be made by the holiday organiser as set out in the www.rivercatcher.co.uk or by a member of the holiday organiser partly who must be age 18 or older. In accordance to UK law, we will not sell alcohol to anyone who is under the age of 18. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. If the recipient of the order is different to the person placing the order, the recipient must also be 18 years old or over.

Rivercatcher reserve the right to terminate any orders, without refund, which are found to be of young people not supervised by parents/adults, even though the order have been made by parent/adult.


Should you wish to make any changes to or cancel your confirmed order, you must notify us by email as soon as possible. Whilst we will endeavour to assist, we cannot guarantee we will be able to meet any such requests.


Occasionally Rivercatcher have to make changes to and correct errors on the website descriptions and other details both before and after orders have been confirmed and cancel confirmed orders. Whilst Rivercatcher always endeavour to avoid changes and cancellations, we must reserve the right to do so. If Rivercatcher have to make a significant change to or cancel your order we will tell you as soon as possible and refund all monies paid.


Rivercatcher expect to deliver your order within 24 hours of receiving your order unless you have selected a designated day. Orders we be delivered between 10am and 12pm the next working day. If this is not possible then we will email you to notify the expected timescale. We are in the office 9am to 2pm to process orders – orders after this time will be processed the next working day. Our deliveries are made Monday through Friday. We do not deliver on weekends unless agreed by email. A confirmation email will be sent when your order has been confirmed and dispatched.


We only deliver to Rivercatcher Holiday cottages and Log Cabins.

If you pre order your items for your arrival date, then these will be in your property on check in day. If you select a designated day during your stay delivery will be between 10am – 12 pm. If you are not in on your selected designated day you the guest must allow members of our Rivercatcher staff to access your property to deliver your order.


Upon receipt of your order, you should carefully inspect to make sure that it is intact and that all items ordered are included. We will inform you of any breakages or shortages at the time of delivery. We will not accept any claims for breakages or shortages unless they are reported to us by email to info@rivercatcher.co.uk within 24 hours of delivery. If the claim is valid, we will replace or refund damaged or lost goods. To ensure that claims are valid, we may ask for the damaged goods to be returned, or photographs to be sent to us showing the damage.


All prices on the website are inclusive of any VAT payable unless otherwise stated. There is no delivery charge. The prices payable for the products that you order are clearly set out on the website.


For fresh food and perishable items such as cheese and meats, the 7 day cancellation period does not apply. Should you be unhappy with any of the foods received please email us at info@rivercatcher.co.uk within 24 hours of delivery quoting your order/booking number.

For non-perishable goods and goods not otherwise exempt by law for return, we will accept an application to cancel or refund an order within 7 days of delivery. Before issuing a refund, we request that the goods be returned to us unused and in the original packaging, with no signs of use or wear and tear. Postage costs for these returned goods are at the expense of you, the customer.


We constantly update information on the website i.e. price changes, items and stock information. However, if these changes occur without warning, the product received might be slightly different to that shown on the website. There may also be instances where products are unavailable at the time of order. If this is the case, we will contact you to discuss a suitable alternative.
